Don't take this the wrong way, but I think I like the unpainted versions better. It has something to do with the rawness of it. Without the paint, it is still a sculpture and not just another toy/collectable. Amazing skill!
I love this figure so much. I'm so happy to have him sitting on top of my dresser...he gets lots of attention and love. He's a beautiful piece of work. :3 It's so cool to see the one on DA who makes these! Awesome work.
hehe yes, I stopped by and spoke with you I believe I was a little sleep deprived and jet lagged though I recall having a brainfart for a moment when I said they needed to make a blood elf paladin female figure The Spell Breakers design is awesome , and but the Judgement armour on the Blood elves wins over everything Hopefully blizzard will make that (i've actually written marketing and suggested it). Hopefully they will get you again
Dang So u sculpt with some sort of removable armature? I want to make my own custom Action figures just don't know how to sculpt it in such a way that I can take things apart and mold it. Any help would be appreciated.
Nope, the wax is hard when at a cool temp, so it doesn't need armature, especially at this scale. I use wire for very thin bits- strands of hair, spikes, etc. I generally plan how a figure will come apart before getting into detail and then pinning it together, that avoids butchering it at the end. Feel free to send me a note or email glad to discuss..
